Cable Locator Transmitters

A transmitter can greatly expand the capabilites of your cable and pipe locator by allowing the user to perform active locates, which is utilising a signal generator (or transmitter) to apply a locate signal to an underground cable or pipe. This permits the operator to search for a specific locate signal at a set frequency and not only makes it easier to pinpoint buried cables and pipes, but it also opens up the cable and pipe locator to be able to locate a much wider range of underground utilites which may not be located with only a receiver in passive mode.
