The Testrix TX-23SL inspection camera is designed to fit directly into most Testrix cable reels, and is self-levelling which ensures that the video and still images provided by the camera are always the right way up. This camera head replaces the 28mm head found on the Testrix TX-60 and is compatible with Testrix camera systems (except for HD systems, full HD systems, TX-14, and larger systems)

Manufactured from industrial grade stainless steel, this camera head is built to withstand water ingress and is IP68 waterproof, which allows the camera head to be submerged in water, making it suitable for use in flooded pipes and voids.

The camera sensor is built from the latest generation CMOS sensor for improved image and video quality, as we offer larger 15 inch screens with most of our drain, sewer & pipe inspection systems and the lens cover is made from hardened sapphire glass, which offers improved hardness and scratch resistance than cheaper mineral glass materials.

New ultra bright LED lights are sunk into the camera head, which offer brighter forward lighting projection for inspections in pipes. These LED's are also fully adjustable from our Testrix control boxes, for complete customisation of lighting levels, which is important in different pipe sizes.

The TX-23SL is fitted with a commercial grade spring, which makes pushing around bends easier, as the spring can help prevent overbending of the cable reel, and a 512Hz transmitting sonde is also built into the spring, which makes this camera locatable from above the ground by using our Testrix U-Loc locator, which offers accurate position and depth on screen. This particular feature can save time and lower the cost of locating a blockage or damaged pipe as it allows the location and depth of the camera head to be known in a matter of minutes without additional excavation and property damage being necessary.
